Maintenance & Trades
Routine Maintenance through to Complex Repair Scopes
Maintenance & Trades
CAN delivers a wide range of engineering projects and remedial works, specialising in difficult‑to‑access locations to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
By leveraging alternative access and rope access techniques, we provide safe, efficient and practical solutions where conventional methods are not viable.
Alternative & Bespoke Access Solutions
At the core of CAN’s business is providing clients with alternative and bespoke access solutions to both reduce risk and increase efficiency at the worksite.
CAN has a number of proprietary solutions and has a strong track record of engineering solutions to reduce the requirement for costly conventional scaffold access across our client sites.
Rope Access – an alternative access solution synonymous with CAN since the company’s founding in 1986
CANSPAN – temporary suspended access equipment or temporary working platform system used to support rope access operations both on and offshore
Web Decking & Tension Netting – engineered solutions bespoke to the application, providing cost effective and deployable solutions to access difficult to reach locations. This solution sees close collaboration with ENGTEQ for structural engineering assessment and approval of installation system.
Integrity Driven Fabric Maintenance
CAN pioneered the find & fix and find & arrest methodologies offering clients a reactive repair methodology to integrity threats, often through a multi-skilled team approach spanning both inspection and trades business streams.
If we find a problem, be that mechanical or corrosion damage which requires a simple solution to remediate, we will arrest the imminent risk immediately and propose a long-term fix for our clients.
CAN offers two the following cost- effective and efficient solutions:
- The find & fix methodology sees minor repairs enacted to provide a permanent solution to mitigate integrity threats. Bespoke repair solutions are matched with the type and severity of integrity threat.
- The find & arrest methodology sees a temporary repair installed, typically either on later life assets with a defined operating lifespan or to provide short-term mitigation to integrity threats allowing an engineered solution to be determined.
